1. Preparing the perfect resume

• The resume format – There are so many templates but which format do employers find easiest to read?
• How long should a resume be – Are your future employers switching off before they reach the end?

You will leave this module with not only the knowledge of how to create the perfect resume and covering letter, but also an electronic copy emailed to you which you can change and adapt as you please. This is an additional service free of charge!

2. Controlling and managing your applications

• Take control – How to correctly manage and record your applications!
• Agency applications – How do you get feedback or a straight answer from a recruiter?
• Persistence – We will give you the top tips you need to get through to the right person!
• Keep selling yourself – How to make sure your applications always remain current!

You will leave this module with a comprehensive knowledge of what the major job sites are and how they work, who to apply to, how to follow up on applications and how to track all outstanding applications – because when you get that call, you need to know immediately which job it is for!

3. "Acing" the interview

• Interview presentation and preparation – How do I dress for a successful interview and what do I need to prepare?
• Communication skills – What does my body language say about me?
• Questions and answers – We coach you on various interview techniques, sample questions and answers, and give you interview questions to take away with you to practice.

By the end of this module you will feel confident and ready to succeed in any interview - you will be able to both ask and answer questions, your body language will scream “employ me” and your presentation will make the best first impression!
