Senior Environmental Scientist

My Client is a firm of environmental consultants who provide services related to soil, water, air, flora and fauna management.They are currently seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to join their team based in Perth.

The environmental management team assists clients in the land development, resources, infrastructure, government and industrial sectors to achieve environmental approvals and manage environmental assets.

You will work with the Manager of the Environmental Management Team to be responsible for project management, client liaison, project budgeting, coordination of technical inputs from other sectors of the company, progress monitoring and outcome evaluation on projects.

Ideally you will be someone with an established network of clients and contacts within W.A. Your role will be to grow the team and bring in new work via Business Development

What you need:

• Relevant Tertiary degree – Environmental Engineering of Science
• Around 5 years previous experience
• Experience in a Consultancy or Government environment (ideally in W.A)
• Experience in working with environmental legislation
• Knowledge of environmental issues associated with the land development industry, environmental planning

• Knowledge and experience working in mining or infrastructure sectors
