Senior Geotechnical Engineer

My client is a small, friendly consulting firm consisting of Civil Engineers, Geologists, Geotechnical Engineers and Environment Scientists.

They are experts in the areas of mining waste management and mine decommissioning and are looking for a talented, senior geotechnical engineer to join their Tailings division in Perth.

Ideally, you will have previous experience in the investigation and design of tailings storage facilities.

What you need:

  • Tertiary Geotechnical, Engineering Geology or Civil Engineering degree
  • Around 7 - 8 + years previous experience including consulting work
  • Previous experience in the investigation and design of tailings storage facilities
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English
  • Valid Australian working visa

Your role will involve:

  • Investigation and design of tailings storage facilities
  • Project Management of geotechnical investigations
  • Client and subcontractor liaison
